The Introductory Set is the cheapest proper way into Warhammer 40,000 two small forces, a battlefield and a handbook that teaches you to build, paint and play. What it doesn’t include is the kit to get the models off the frame. This bundle fixes that, adds a stack of extra paints and throws in a painting handle, so the whole hobby arrives in one delivery.

What’s in the bundle

Warhammer 40,000: Introductory Set (11th Edition) 12 push-fit miniatures (a Space Marine Lieutenant, 5 Intercessors, an Ork Nob and 5 Ork Boyz), 6 Warhammer Colour paints, a starter brush, a playmat, card terrain, a range ruler, dice and the 48-page handbook
Warhammer 40,000: Paints + Tools Set (11th Edition) 13 Warhammer Colour paints (11 Base colours, Agrax Earthshade and Armageddon Dust texture), a second starter brush, Starter Set Clippers and a mould line scraper
Citadel Painting Handle (MK2) grips the model so your fingers stay off the wet paint

Best for

Solo newcomers who want to try building, painting and playing
A first Warhammer gift with nothing else to buy
A first game for two across the kitchen table

The twelve models in the Introductory Set are new sculpts that debut in this box, so even when you move on to a bigger army, these ones stay special.

85.75 at RRP 69.99 as a bundle. Push-fit, so no glue needed. See how it stacks up against the bigger boxes in our 11th edition starter sets guide, or browse the full 40K starter sets range.
