Grim, massed and unflinching the Guard is a lot of models, so the paints need to work hard. This set gathers the ten colours for drab fatigues, leather webbing, battered lasguns and muddy boots, picked so you can batch-paint a platoon without second-guessing a single pot.

What’s in the set

Base (3): Castellan Green, Mournfang Brown, Leadbelcher
Layer (3): Straken Green, Karak Stone, Stormhost Silver
Shade (2): Agrax Earthshade, Nuln Oil
Technical (2): Stirland Mud, Typhus Corrosion

Best for

Castellan Green fatigues lifted with Straken Green
Mournfang Brown webbing and Karak Stone kit
Stirland Mud and Typhus Corrosion for proper frontline grime

Block in, wash, dirty them up it’s the fastest route to a whole regiment that looks like it’s been living in a trench.

Miniatures not included. Pots come in a mix of Citadel and Warhammer Colour packaging it’s the same paint, Games Workshop is mid-way through renaming the range. Add a decent brush and a can from our spray primers and you’re ready to paint the whole platoon.
