Hive Fleet Purple 1 is the darkest tone of the Hive Fleet Purple ladder: a deep aubergine. Tone Pro gives you 30 colours in five numbered tones (1 darkest, 5 lightest), so shading and highlighting is just counting up or down.

The Hive Fleet Purple ladder

  • Hive Fleet Purple 1 darkest (this pot)
  • Hive Fleet Purple 2 dark
  • Hive Fleet Purple 3 midtone
  • Hive Fleet Purple 4 light
  • Hive Fleet Purple 5 lightest

Best for

  • Deep shadows and recess shading
  • Purple carapace and chitin
  • Daemonic flesh and Tyranid schemes

Covers from the first coat and handles basecoats, layers, glazing and drybrushing. Mix with Tone Pro Shading Medium for a glaze or Blending Medium for smoother blends. Read our Warhammer Tone Pro launch guide for the full story.

Browse all 30 colours and 150 tones in our Warhammer Tone Pro paints collection. Hive Fleet Purple 1 also works nicely alongside Shalaxi Violet 1 and Magnus the Red 1.
